The Tiramisu was inventing in Italy at the end of the 17th century. The history registers that the person who invented this delicious dessert was the Duke Cosimo III of Medici in Siena. This Duke was a glutton and when he makes and discovers this dessert, he decides to call it "soup of the duke".
This dessert turned to be the favorite of all the people, who started to make this dessert whit aphrodisiac substances and eat this after have a loving date. For this reason, the name was changed for "tiramisu" that in Italian it means, "Turn me on".
You can do this dessert with different products, and here you can find the easiest recipe to prepare it.
Ingredients:
- 4 units of eggs
- 1 pound of mascarpone cheese
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 spoonfuls of vanilla
- 8 packages of cookies "Ducales" (the mark is optional)
- Cream
- Coffee
- Wine
Preparation:
- Put in a blender the eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese and whisk for one minute.
- Add the cream and vanilla and whisk for 4 minutes. This will be the cream to cover the cookies.
- After joining the cookies in a container for 25 pieces, mixed whit the coffee and wine.
- Pour over the cream and make sure it is securely capped.
- Repeat the procedure with the other cookies.
- Decorate with melted chocolate or cocoa. Put chocolate figures or fruits like cherry or strawberry for decorate the dish.
